Our people

A practice is personal.
So is the teaching.

Good listeners. Thoughtful guides. Real encouragement, with room for your own way of moving.

A smiling yoga instructor seated on an oak bench in the studio

Mara Reed

Yoga & mat Pilates

"There is no perfect pose. Just a little more presence."
Mara's story

Mara found yoga in the middle of a busy working life. What began as an hour of quiet became a practice of paying attention. Her classes make room for questions, pauses, and different ways to move.

Expect steady sequences, clear invitations, and the occasional reminder that taking a rest is part of the practice.

June Park

Reformer & mat Pilates

"We build from the small things. That is where change begins."
June's story

A former dancer, June came to Pilates looking for a more considered relationship with movement. She teaches with a close eye for detail and a warm sense of humour.

Her sessions balance gentle precision with a satisfying challenge. She will learn your name, offer options, and celebrate the things you start to notice.

More than the movement

Make yourself
at home.

Warm light, a place for your things, and time to settle in. The little details make it easier to leave the rest of your day at the door.

Everything in its place
Mats, blocks, straps, and fresh towels are here. Just bring yourself and a water bottle.
A moment between things
Leave your bag in a cubby, fill your bottle, and take a seat before class.
Room to be noticed
Six reformers. Ten mats. Small groups leave space for thoughtful attention.
A sunlit studio nook with an oak bench, olive cushions, and cubbies filled with neatly rolled towels
Arrive a little early. Leave a little slower.

Finding a beginning

"I thought everyone would know what they were doing. Mara made room for all my questions. Now Tuesday mornings feel like time that is properly mine."

Amina L.A slower start with yoga

The little things

"The small groups make such a difference. June notices the little things and explains them in a way that clicks. I leave feeling like I have learned something."

Making room for both

"Some weeks I have energy. Some weeks I need to slow down. There is room for both here, and that is what keeps me coming back."

What should I bring?

Comfortable clothes and a water bottle are plenty. Mats and props are here for you. Grip socks are needed for reformer classes; bring your own pair.
