Counselling for adults / London & online

You don't have to
have the words yet.

A little space to be heard. To explore what's on your mind. To begin, exactly where you are.

A 15-minute introduction

Room for your questions

Room for real life

There isn't a right
place to start.

Something may have happened. Or perhaps things have felt hard to put into words for a while. You do not need a perfect explanation to begin a conversation.

Here are some of the things our people make space for. Choose one to explore who you might like to meet.

You can also start without choosing a topic.

The person matters

Who feels like
a good beginning?

Choose by topic, setting and time of day. This helps narrow the list; a first conversation is a chance to see how it feels.

One small step, then another

No need to know
how this goes.

We will explain the practical things, make room for your questions and agree the next step together.

A first hello

A short, free introduction by phone or video. You can meet your counsellor, ask about the way they work and share as much or as little as feels useful.

Room to talk

If you decide to continue, you will agree a regular session and discuss what you would like space for. Your counsellor will explain fees, privacy and practical arrangements.

A conversation that stays open

You can ask questions about the work as you go. The pace, the focus and whether it feels like a useful fit are things you can keep talking about.

Somewhere you can
put things down.

A quiet room, a comfortable chair and a little distance from the demands of the day. A space set aside for your conversation.

Before we meet

You can bring
your questions.

About the person, the process or the practical things. You might want to ask how sessions work, what a regular appointment looks like, or what happens after the introduction.

You are welcome to write things down. You are just as welcome to arrive without a list.

Make room for a first hello

A few things
you may be
wondering.

Do I need to know what I want to talk about?

No. You can start with a question, a feeling or something that is hard to put into words. The introduction is a chance to talk about where you might begin.

Can I speak to someone before deciding?

Yes. The first introduction is a short conversation by phone or video. You can ask about the counsellor, their approach and the practical arrangements.

What if I am not sure who to choose?

Choose the option to find someone together. You can share your preferences and ask us about the people who may fit them.

Can we talk about privacy?

Absolutely. Your counsellor will explain privacy, its limits and how they handle information before you decide to continue.
