YOUR ACCOUNTANT, IN THE LOOP

Big step. Let's talk it through.

We can look at the costs beyond salary, how a quieter month might feel, and what you want to keep in reserve.

I'll bring a couple of scenarios to our next catch-up. You bring the questions.

Your next hire, on paper

Two scenarios. Room for a conversation.

A note from Mia

Behind every number,
there is a person.

And behind every business, there is someone who took a chance on an idea.

I started Good Measure for those people. The ones making, building, creating, and quietly getting on with it. People who deserve an accountant who is as interested in their business as they are.

Here, a question is always welcome. A spreadsheet comes with an explanation. And a conversation about the numbers can become a conversation about what you want next.

That is what good accounting should feel like.

Mia.

6 questions / a good place to start

Getting startedIs my business a good fit?

We work with independent businesses: consultants, creative studios, shops, and small teams. Whether you are getting started or ready for more support, our first conversation is about what you need and whether we are the right people to help.

SwitchingCan you work with my current accountant?

Yes. With your permission, we can speak with your existing accountant, agree a handover, and gather the records we need. We will map the changeover with you so everyone knows who is responsible for each piece of work.

Working togetherWill I have one point of contact?

You will have a named accountant who gets to know your business. They coordinate the work, explain what the numbers mean, and make sure you know who to contact when a question comes up.

Your planWhat is included in a monthly plan?

Every plan starts with bookkeeping, regular account reconciliation, and a monthly summary. We then scope tax and year-end work around your business type. Payroll and planning support can be added when you need them. Your proposal sets out exactly what is included.

SoftwareDo I need to change my accounting software?

Usually, we start with what you already use. We can work with cloud bookkeeping systems and help you decide if a different setup would make life easier. Any software costs and migration work are agreed before we begin.

PracticalitiesCan we work together remotely?

Absolutely. We can meet by video, share documents securely, and keep a clear record of the next steps. We are based in London and work with business owners across the UK. You can tell us how you prefer to communicate.

Something else on your mind?

A good fit.

Every business is a little different. Tell us a bit about yours to explore an illustrative monthly plan.

01 What does your business look like?

A rough idea is fine. We can work out the details together.
